There’s a huge part of me fighting for identity. When my nerves are so raw like this, I see things. This situation makes me feel like I’m competing against a different generation – a different culture even. I’ve grown up a lot. Most people are edgier than me, and they match other people’s discontent a lot better than I do. My goals are serenity and contentment, but my batshit crazyness says “go be discontent and you’ll be back in.” Got to understand that I’m much closer to the end game than any of them. I’ve worked really fucking hard to get here.
I play music with a bunch of hipsters. Sorry, but I don’t feel like re-living 1980 any more. I like music that’s genuine, not raw and loud. John Coltrane was fucking real. Most other stuff is bullshit noise. Angst for the sake of angst.
Yet I fear that anger and depression have become commonplace in our culture. By no means am I the president of the optimist’s club, but a realistic approach is severely lacking. I don’t see anyone defining themselves by the way they help others.

9/11 was Cheney’s Wet Dream
As the conservabots gather to dance on the graves of the dead, understand that the Bush administration’s top priority is, was and has always been to occupy Iraq and steal its oil. See the 1998 Project for a New American Century manfesto, which Cheney himself signed along with Don Rumsfeld and William “The Impaler” Kristol.
They wanted Iraq for many reasons, but Cheney is all about the oil. The PNAC manifesto, to take Iraq, depended on the support of the American people, but conceded that support would be difficult without “another Pearl Harbor.”
So in the fall 2001, with an illigitimate moron president at the helm, Cheney and the neocons pulled off their inside job, and have been using it ever since to justify their actions. They assumed we’d be so dumb that we’d accept the story that brown-skinned people who talk funny attacked us that day. In turn we’d accept the bombing and killing of more brown-skinned, funny talking people in Iraq.
Cocksuckers. Kristol, Rummy, Cheney. If there is a hell, it’s made for people like you.
Dance away, neocons. Dance on the graves of the 2.000 Americans who your leaders murdered that day. While you’re at it, keep dancing on the graves of the 4,000 soldiers who died in Iraq for a cause you still can’t define. And dance on the graves of the million dead Iraqis. Hope you sleep well.
